Franco Sarto was born in Dolo, a small town just 20 kilometers west of Venice. By his early 20's he knew shoes and fashion were to be his life, so he packed up and moved to Strada - the center of shoe design for all of Italy. There he formed a partnership with another designer. The designers spoke for themselves and, very quickly, Franco Sarto became a respected name in the industry. Now, Franco Sarto is a man women cherish, and why not? He is a man who cherishes women. He understands our undying passion for shoes and is dedicated to keeping that passion alive.
